Busy Busy Lady!
I always say there is a difference between being occupied and being busy. I think everyone these day's is 'busy' or occupied with something or someone. These last couple of weeks have been very insane. I think life always has a way of catching up with us and it's hard to cope with it. But I think the most important thing is to be grateful in the midst of the crazy-ness.
I am very grateful because even though the last couple of weeks have been insane I am just grateful for the people God has brought into my life. I think it can be a bit much when we're trying to adult... especially trying to juggle work, friends more so, being a good friend, being a good sister, being a good daughter, being a good employee or employer, or being a good partner... it can be a lot. But I pray everyday that God gives me the strength and wisdom to get through the day.
So my message today, is to be grateful. I know sometimes things might fall apart at the most unexpected of times, our hearts get broken, our plans get messed up - all things can go wrong, but just keep your head up and remember that sometimes things need to fall apart so that other or better things can fall together. I know it is a lot easier said than done. But be grateful that you are stronger today than you were yesterday. And that everyday is a step closer to your blessing, your breakthrough, your happiness or your healing, just remember that! I always say that to overcome negativity or hurdles in your life, you have to fill your life with so much goodness and positivity that any negativity will defect. I know it is hard, but next time you go through a hurdle, stop and think about ALL the things that are going right or that you're blessed with and you'll realise how much you have to be grateful for. So no matter what you going through, say your prayer, believe it in your heart and confess it with your mouth that you will receive the fullness and goodness out of life AND no matter how you feel, wake up, dress up and show up! This look is the perfect example of this... I woke up, dressed up and showed up - simple, easy and chic!
