OUTFIT: As mentioned before, I cut my hair and I'm still loving it. I wanted to show you different ways in which you can spice up something as a dress. So I've worn a simple midi dress with a tank top over, tied a knot in the front and tucked it in. I am in love with the crop top trend, so I wanted to find different ways that you can crop. So here it is loves. A TOPSHOP Khaki dress with a white tank over (knotted into a crop top). I love the illusion it gives that I am still wearing a dress or wearing a high waisted skirt with a crop top. It's a heat way to wear a dress in multiple ways.

#STYLETIP: Try a sleeved t-shirt over a body con midi dress. Roll up the sleeves and knot the front or back of the t-shirt and tuck it in. It gives such a nice illusion and adds an interesting silhouette to your body.

So, for those of you who might already know, I was in Johannesburg for a while for the festive season and I must say man-o-man, I completely forgot what it is like to be home during Summer in the blazing HOT sun. It was quiet nice because it was coming close to a year that I hadn't experienced Summer. (I know! weird) Anyway, but other than that I had a wonderful time being home with friends and family for a long time and through to the New Year.

So many ups and downs but I'd like to think mainly ups. The one lesson I learnt whilst I was home was to TRUST only God. I've learnt this lesson many times but I think we become stronger and stronger each time we go through a lesson. Now, December is not normally a month I spend the whole time home. When I left London, in 2014 I was sure that I would be seeing London only after a few months, or even longer. My plan was to go home, prepare and jet off to somewhere new. Now, sometimes our plans don't always work out as planned. Sometimes when we really want something and things don't work out something better happens for us. Yes, sometimes the process of patiently waiting takes longer and it becomes more and more difficult. Well, I experienced a whole lot of waiting, trusting and patience.

A lot of you will agree that when you know that God has something better planned for you, you still insist on taking your own way, which most times can get messy, annoying and scary. Although, we know God always supplies better, why do we spend many nights worrying?

Sometimes we place our trust in the hands of the wrong people, who feed us endless promises that they can never keep to. Sometimes we place our trust in things that are too temperamental and that never give us endless or permanent satisfaction. Sometimes we just don't know who to trust because we've been disappointed a number of times. Sometimes trust is a difficult topic to talk about so we think we don't have trust issues, when all we do have is, trust issues.

Trust lies in our daily lives, whether it's trusting the photographer to take that one million dollar shot that shows your 'good' side; or it's in a relationship; or it's trusting your career path; or even if it's trusting someone else to make a decision that will impact your life. We can not run away from trust. Many of my close friends will say that I trust people very easily and in most cases, I have trusted way toooo many wrong people for the right things, when all I could have done was trust to in God. We all experience ups and downs in our life, most of which temporary situations that we rely on too much. I did this, I trusted a temporary situation with the thought that it would change my life permanently, to a thousand percent better but I was not trusting God. He was the one that was going to change my life to a thousand percent better, not the situation or the person I was trusting.

My advice to you is, Trust God. Especially when it comes to your life. Don't put your life on hold because you are trusting one person to change your life, especially if it has something to do with your future or career. For example, when you are applying for a job, don't put all your eggs in one basket unless it is one hundred and ten percent confirmed to the core. Sometimes, things change within the process. People change their minds, some make other decisions that don't benefit you or some are simply are not interested anymore. It's normal. But God, God never changes his mind when it comes to what His set you to do. Remember that! If something is of God, the devil will sometimes try to take it away from you but the trick is trust God that He will make a way. If you believe in your heart and confess with your tongue things will definitely work out. Learn to trust. Learn to talk about trust. Learn to understand trust and learn to trust in God.
