LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! I cannot believe it’s that time of the year again…Valentines Day and for the first time, I am content with knowing that it’s not about how many roses you get, or how many chocolates you send but it’s about the loved ones you share it with, whether it be friends or family. For many years I always grew up knowing that expressing your love to someone is one the greatest rewards you can ever get. It is much more to give than to receive. Even though, being loved back is just as nice, it will only feel right when it’s naturally rewarded back to you without a single effort.

I must say that I am a woman who enjoys giving gifts but one day I decided that, even though I love giving there is nothing wrong with spoiling yourself once in a while. I mean it won’t hurt but to buy yourself an amazing Elie Saab parfum (which I was so blessed to receive from someone special) or some jewelry. If you love sweet, flowery feminine scents then you will love this Elie Saab parfum. What harm will you do by spoiling yourself once, make yourself feel good! Oh, and how blessed I was to receive a pair every woman’s perfect pair of shoes, Manolo Blahnik. I always hear people ask, ‘Do you believe in love at first sight?’ and my immediate response to that was ‘YES’. The first time I saw Carrie Bradshaw gently place her first pair of blue Manolo’s in her soon to be closet, I couldn’t help but to fall in love instantly. I am not the luckiest girl in the world, but I am one of the blessed women in the world. I believe in investments and I believe that when you wisely spend a fairly good amount on a pair of shoes, they can last you a life. These pieces are timeless because besides the quality, the elegance and style, the shoe will last forever. These beautiful Blahnik are such girly shoes and I couldn’t help but put together a girly look. I hardly, wear pink but I am actually quiet glad that pastels are in again because when I first saw this top at ZARA, I loved it. The top makes a statement on its own but only tha. Simple and to the point is the key to elegance. My makeup lecturer always used to say, “LESS is more!” but I suppose this saying is applicable even to fashion. Elegance always says ‘I’m not trying too hard but I got it’ (giggles). It is always important to be true to yourself and always keep your head up high, because by doing that you will always achieve your best.

Wishing everyone an amazing Love month ahead and a productive one in advance. Have you got a valentine, and if so, what will you be spoiling them with?
